Al-Sahaba Mosque, known by natives as مسجد الصحابة, is located in Aflou, within the Laghouat Province. It's a traditional Sunni denomination mosque where religious activities and prayers are primarily conducted in Arabic. The name 'Al-Sahaba' pays homage to the companions of the Prophet in Islamic history.

Catering to the needs of both genders, Al-Sahaba Mosque provides a separate prayer space for women, ensuring their comfort and privacy. In addition to this, the mosque also provides Odhu facilities for women. Odhu, or Wudu, is a ritual cleansing process performed before prayers which includes washing the hands, mouth, nostrils, arms, head, and feet with water.
