ISNA National Qira’at Competition

ISNA invites youth to participate in its National Qira’at Competition, held during the 62nd Annual Convention from August 29 to September 1, 2025, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, IL.

Registration Deadline: July 30, 2025
Categories:

Category 1 (Ages 11–16): Surah Al-Baqarah, Al-Kahf, or Al-Rahman

Category 2 (Ages 6–10): Surah Yaseen, Al-Mulk, or Al-Infitar

Judging Criteria: Tajweed, articulation, fluency, and tone

Awards:

1st Place: $500

2nd Place: $300

3rd Place: $200

All participants receive certificates

Note: Teachers and professional reciters are not eligible.
