Dar Al-Ihsan Islamic Center

The Muslim Youth of Victoria was formed in 2014 by a sincere group of brothers with the goal of serving the community. They organized many activities and events, including community picnics, paintball, bowling and many others. They also organized consistent monthly halaqah’s as well as a new location for Salat-al-Jumuah for the convenience of the community, and other educational activities. The community has grown significantly in the last few years and continues to grow, and the MYV has continued to grow with it. Due to this growth, in 2018 we established Dar Al-Ihsan Islamic Center, the first of its kind in Victoria. Led by Sh. Younus Kathrada, the aim and goal of the Islamic Center is to better serve the community of Victoria with both fun and educational activities and to provide a place for Muslims to gather for religious and social events, provide religious education for children, teens, and adults, and a place for non-Muslims to come to learn about Islam.
