Moncton Masjid invites all brothers and sisters to observe Ashura—the day of fasting and remembrance—with prayer, gratitude, reflection, du'a, Qur'an recitation, and remembrance of Allah.

Ashura Fasting & Remembrance

Moncton Muslim Association was created in 2000 with a handful of members. With a target to fulfill the needs of the local Muslim community, we were able to build the first and only Mosque in a few years. The Moncton Mosque officially opened in the summer of 2007. Since then we have renovated and expanded and the facilities that you see now are an outcome of consistent development and improvement. Now our members and community have grown exponentially and we are aiming for even bigger projects like building a community center.
