Lacombe is a city in central Alberta, Canada. It is located approximately 25 kilometers north of Red Deer, the nearest major city, and 125 kilometers south of Edmonton, the nearest metropolitan area. Lacombe Islamic center was established in February 2020. The Masjid has been the dream of the community for many years – to establish a permanent facility for worship. With the mercy of Allah, and once again the support from the community the need has once again been fulfilled. The Islamic center’s goal is to increase awareness of the essence and beauty of Islam upon its correct principles to cultivate and educate ourselves, as well as the community in general. Presently located at 5124 52 St, Lacombe Lake Islamic Center is serving a growing community with a wide variety of ethnicities and cultures. The Masjid is open 24/7 to serve the needs of the Muslims and offers five times daily prayers and Juma’a prayer.
