The Iman Qur’an Academy is excited to announce that registration for our Weekend Qur’an Program (September – June) is now open! This program is designed to help students build a strong foundation in Qur’an recitation, memorization, and understanding, in a supportive and engaging environment.

Program Details:

Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays

Class Times:
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
1:00 PM – 2:30 PM

Akram Jomaa Islamic Center

Weekend Quran Program

Located in Calgary, Alberta, the Akram Jomaa Islamic Center is one of the largest Islamic centers in Western Canada. Operated under the Muslim Community Foundation of Calgary, this Sunni mosque serves a community of over 25,000 Muslims in the Calgary Northeast area. 

The mosque offers services such as chat with an imam, support for those new to Islam, assistance with funeral rites, and guidance for those getting married. Kid-friendly amenities are available, making it a welcoming space for families to worship together. 

For women, the mosque provides separate prayer spaces and essential facilities. Wheelchair amenities include accessible prayer spaces and parking, ensuring that all visitors can participate in the mosque's activities comfortably. 

The Akram Jomaa Islamic Center is known for its inclusive environment, where English is commonly spoken, making it accessible to individuals from diverse backgrounds. With ample parking on the premises, worshippers can attend services and events without worry.
