Aisha Islamic Center

The Aisha Islamic Center (Aisha Mosque) is a non-profit religious organization created to operate a Masjid in the Griffintown neighborhood of Montreal.
The Aisha Mosque began in 2005 as a small project to organize Friday prayers for Muslims in the Griffintown neighborhood. With the help of Allah and the cooperation of Muslims (professionals, ETS university students/staff, taxi drivers, families), the project grew from a small location to a popular prayer room (Musalla) rented at 235 Peel in 2008.
