Community Iftars

The Islamic Society of Kingston is a registered religious organization located in Kingston, Ontario. Established in 1965, it aims to serve the Muslim community in Kingston and the surrounding area. The society was initially formed by Muslim students and faculty at Queen's University, with juma'a prayers being held in a small room at the university. Social functions took place at the International Centre, which was established in the 60s.

As a Sunni mosque, the Islamic Society of Kingston provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. The mosque offers English as the primary language of communication, making it accessible to a wide range of individuals. It also provides ample parking on its premises for the convenience of attendees.

The mosque features amenities to accommodate both men and women. For women, there is a designated prayer space without separators, ensuring a comfortable and intimate setting for worship. Additionally, the mosque offers a shower facility and an odhu (ablution) facility for both men and women.
