Al-Hoda Islamic Society

Officially established in 1997, Al-Hoda Islamic Society is an Islamic institution that follows the Jafari school of thought. It aims to revive the sacred rituals of the Ahlulbayt, serve the Canadian Muslim community, and provide a robust and educational center for all community members.
Before its launch, all of the important events such as the Holy month of Ramadan and Muharram, programs were hosted entirely at a few believers’ homes due to the lack of an official center. By the grace of God and all the donations accumulated over the years, Al-Hoda was able to purchase a permanent location to provide essential religious services to community members.
