Richmond Jamia Masjid

Richmond Jamea Masjid is one of the oldest mosques in BC. It is managed by the BCMA and Masha’Allah they have done a great job with the development and maintenance of this masjid. The masjid has good facilities for the Men’s and the Women’s sections. It has spacious halls and even a multi purpose hall for organizing events. The Women’s area has a separate section for sisters with young kids. They have a gym where kids can play basketball and other sports. It also has a commercial kitchen and they sell food on Fridays. The parking is large but as with most other mosques, it is pretty tight during the Friday prayers. The people in the masjid are friendly and welcoming. It is also right next to the BC Muslim School.
