The Tracy Islamic Center (T.I.C.) is an Islamic center located in Tracy, California. It was established in 1999 by a few Muslim families who initially gathered in a residential garage. In order to better accommodate the growing community, the center then purchased a small house on a nearly 1 acre lot.
Since its founding, the Tracy Islamic Center has flourished and now serves a diverse Muslim community with close to 300 families in the Tracy and Mountain House Area. The center offers a range of services and activities to cater to the needs of its members.
For prayer, the Tracy Islamic Center provides dedicated spaces for men and women, ensuring separate areas for each. Additionally, they offer facilities for wudu (ablution), allowing individuals to perform the necessary purification rituals before prayer.
The center also organizes various programs and events to strengthen community bonds and promote Islamic education. These activities include a Weekend School for Kids, Family Night gatherings, as well as the performance of Ṣalāt al-Janāzah (Funeral Prayer).
While information regarding wheelchair amenities and parking is not available, the Tracy Islamic Center strives to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all individuals.
