The Nabi Akram Mosque, also known as the Shepparton Afghani Community, is a Sunni mosque located in Shepparton, Victoria. This mosque is a result of a dedicated effort by the local Afghani community, which has raised over $1 million to realize their vision of having a place for worship and community gathering.

Construction of the mosque began in mid-2013, and it is nearing completion. The community has been actively involved in the project, ensuring that the mosque serves as a welcoming place for worshippers.

The mosque offers amenities such as parking on the premises and wheelchair-accessible prayer spaces. 

This mosque not only serves as a center for prayer but also as a hub for the local Afghani community, fostering a sense of belonging and support among its members.
