The MYLA Teen Girls Program is a vibrant, supportive, and spiritually enriching program designed especially for teen girls who have reached puberty. Hosted by the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh and run by MYLA (Muslim Youth Leadership Association), this weekly gathering offers a safe and welcoming environment where teens can build friendships, grow in their faith, and engage in meaningful activities.

The program features a variety of fun and faith-based events, including weekly halaqas (discussion circles), masjid sleepovers, and exciting spring/summer activities. It is a wonderful opportunity for young Muslim girls to connect with others, learn Islamic values, and enjoy a sense of community.

Eligibility: Girls who have reached puberty; all teens are welcome
Early Registration Fee: \$85/teen (before May 4th)
Standard Registration Fee: \$100/teen (after May 4th)

Teen Girls Program

The Islamic Center of Pittsburgh is a welcoming mosque located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As an Islamic center, it caters to the Sunni Salafi denomination and offers a range of services and activities for its community members.

One of the main features of this mosque is its commitment to inclusivity. Women have their separate prayer space and there are facilities available for ablution (odhu). The center also ensures that the mosque is wheelchair accessible, with a designated prayer space and accessible toilets.

The Islamic Center of Pittsburgh provides a variety of services and activities for its community. It offers the five daily prayers as well as the Jumu'ah prayers on Fridays. Additionally, there are weekly Halaqa sessions for men to come together and engage in spiritual discussions. The center also runs a weekend school for kids and organizes special programs like Tarawih during the holy month of Ramadan, Itikaf during the last 10 days of Ramadan, and Ṣalāt al-Janāzah for funeral prayers.

In addition to its regular services, the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh also hosts a summer camp for children, providing them with an opportunity to learn, socialize, and engage in meaningful activities during the summer break.
