Maktab Program

Masjid Darul Quran, also known as The Muslim Center of Long Island, is a vibrant mosque located in Bay Shore, New York. Established in 1992, this Sunni mosque is dedicated to engaging the Muslim community, particularly the youth, in their faith and providing them with a well-rounded experience.

One of the main focuses of Masjid Darul Quran is empowering the youth through comprehensive programs that combine Islamic education with social, cultural, and sports activities. By doing so, the mosque ensures that the new generation remains actively involved in their faith while enjoying a range of enriching experiences.

The mosque caters to the needs of its attendees by providing various services. These include the five daily prayers and the highly anticipated Jumu'ah prayers, which are a highlight of the week. Weekly Halaqa sessions are available for both men and women, offering an opportunity for religious discussions and learning.

Masjid Darul Quran also operates an Islamic school for children, where they can learn about their faith in a nurturing environment. The mosque organizes Family Night activities, fostering a sense of community and togetherness among its members.

To accommodate the diverse needs of its worshipers, Masjid Darul Quran offers separate prayer spaces for women and provides wheelchair amenities, such as accessible prayer spaces, restrooms, and parking facilities.
