Seerah of the Beloved

Bellmore Jaame Masjid is a welcoming Sunni mosque located in North Bellmore, New York. Established in 2001, this mosque originally functioned as a restaurant before being transformed into a place of worship. The building has retained its original structure, providing a unique atmosphere for community gatherings.

The mosque offers a range of services, including five daily prayers and multiple Jumu'ah prayers. There are opportunities for adult Quran learning with a focus on Tajweed, making it a valuable resource for spiritual development. 

Families are encouraged to visit, as the mosque is kid-friendly and features separate prayer spaces for women. The facilities include an odhu area for ablution and wheelchair-accessible prayer space. 

In addition to the mosque itself, the community has expanded by purchasing a nearby house for the imam’s residence and a convenience store next door. This development reflects the growing needs of the congregation and enhances the sense of community.
