Quran Competition

The Worcester Islamic Center is pleased to host the 2025 Annual New England Qur'an Competition, a unique opportunity for youth to showcase their love for the Qur'an, enhance their memorization, and refine their recitation skills in the spirit of learning and worship.

Event Details

Who: Participants aged 4-25 residing in New England states
When: Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET

Registration Fee: $10 per participant
(Financial assistance available upon request)
Competition Categories

Participants may choose to compete in only one category. Judging will focus on memorization or reading skills, tajweed, voice, and overall performance.

Guidelines and Rules:

An elimination round will take place if more than 10 participants are registered in a category.
Special accommodations will be made for sisters if required.
Participants must observe Islamic dress code.
Female participants aged 11 and above will recite behind a veil or partition.
