The Saabiqoon Sisters gathering is a wonderful, accessible weekly resource for sisters 18 and older in the Johnson City area. By offering a free, no-registration-required space for a combination of uplifting talks and enjoyable activities every Friday, the IOST is successfully cultivating a consistent and welcoming environment for women to deepen their understanding of Islam and forge meaningful, long-lasting bonds of sisterhood.

The Islamic Organization of the Southern Tier (IOST) is a non-profit mosque that aims to serve the social and religious needs of Muslims in the Greater Binghamton area and to promote the message of Islam according to the principles of the Ahlus-Sunnah. 

IOST is a resource of Islam for all non-Muslims. Besides our recurring programs and services, we offer many one-time events of all types (educational, social, religious, etc.). IOST offers religious programming such as classes, halaqahs, etc. as well as non-religious programs for the community to enjoy.
