Winter Camp

Masjid Ar-Rashid is a welcoming Sunni mosque located in Beacon, New York, which is about 50 miles north of New York City. It has been a vital part of the community for over 20 years, serving as an Islamic Teaching Center.

The mosque offers daily prayers, including five daily prayers and special Friday (Jumu'ah) prayers. Additionally, it hosts a weekend school for children, fostering learning and engagement in the community.

Masjid Ar-Rashid is designed to be family-friendly. It includes a separate prayer space for women, along with facilities for ablution. The mosque is accessible for wheelchair users, ensuring inclusivity for all visitors.

Parking is available on the street near the mosque, making it convenient for those who drive. The mosque primarily communicates in English, making it accessible for those in the local community.
