Minbar Poets: A Summer Creative Program for Girls

Masjid At-Taqwa, also known as the Georgetown Islamic Center, was established in 2018 and serves as a welcoming community hub for Muslims in Round Rock, Texas, including the nearby areas of Georgetown and Hutto. The mosque provides a clean and inviting prayer space, along with a variety of community programs aimed at enriching the lives of its members.

The mosque is designed to be accessible, featuring a wheelchair-friendly prayer area and good parking options. It has separate entrances to accommodate both men and women, ensuring that everyone can feel comfortable and included. 

Masjid At-Taqwa emphasizes community and friendliness, with a very welcoming atmosphere. The imam is known for being approachable, and visitors often note the warmth of the congregation. There is also a shaded area for people to sit and relax, making it a pleasant space for gatherings.

Families will find that the mosque is kid-friendly, promoting an environment where children can also participate in the community’s spiritual and social activities. Overall, Masjid At-Taqwa is a vibrant center for the local Muslim population, fostering connection and faith.
