Pre-Ramadan Program

Al-Medina Education Center is a non-profit organization that serves the Muslim community in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our mission is:

To provide a host of services and a space where community members can fulfill their spiritual, social and intellectual needs. In addition to the regular prayers (daily prayers, Jumu'a, Eid, Taraweeh) Al-Medina Education Center organizes a variety of lectures and social activities. It also aspires to provide a gradual and structured educational program suitable for the acquisition of an adequate Islamic education.
    - To reach out to Muslims who may not have strong ties with the Masjid and invite them to our activities.
    - To share the greatness of Islam with the larger community, and create an environment of interfaith understanding and respect.
    - To support all efforts that promote social ethics, religious freedom, justice and compassion. 

Al-Medina Education Center is an Islamic center first and last. It does not belong to a particular ethnic, ideological or activist group. Our action will be guided by the teachings of Islam as stated in the Quran and explained by the practice of Prophet Mohammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
