 Malcolm Shabazz Masjid

Annual Seerah Conference

The Malcolm Shabazz Masjid is a mosque located in New York City. It was established in 1994 and has since become a significant center of Muslim life in the Harlem neighborhood. The mosque was built in a renovated building that was formerly known as the Lenox Casino. It provides several prayer services, including the five daily prayers and Jumu'ah prayers. 

The architectural design of the mosque is influenced by Middle Eastern styles. The renovation in 1965 by Sabbath Brown incorporated traditional features such as arches and an aluminum dome, previously adorned with a golden crescent. 

The Malcolm Shabazz Masjid is conveniently located in the heart of New York City, with street parking available nearby.
