The Hoover Crescent Islamic Center, also known as the Birmingham Islamic Society, is a welcoming place for Muslims in Hoover, Alabama. Established in December 2007, it serves as a hub for worship and community activities.

As a Sunni mosque, it offers a range of services, including the five daily prayers, Jumu'ah prayers, and special events. The center also features educational programs such as a weekend school for kids and adult Quran learning focused on Tajweed. Families can find support here with services for marriage and funeral prayers as well.

The center is equipped with separate prayer spaces for women, ensuring comfort and privacy. It also offers amenities like a wheelchair-accessible prayer space and parking on the premises, making it accessible for all community members.
