The Islamic Association of Cary in North Carolina was founded in 2004 by a small group seeking a place of worship in the area. A piece of land was soon purchased for a permanent Masjid to be built on the site. The mosque is Sunni and offers services in English, catering to the local community.

The mosque provides separate prayer spaces for women and has Odhu facilities available. Additionally, wheelchair amenities are present, including wheelchair-friendly prayer spaces. The Islamic Association of Cary hosts five daily prayers as well as Jumu'ah prayers, supporting the spiritual needs of its members.
