Who Are the Ibadur Rahman

The Danbury Masjid, also known as the Islamic Society of Western Connecticut, is a mosque located in Danbury. It is one of the oldest and largest Islamic communities in the Greater Danbury area, catering to the religious needs of Muslims in the region.

The mosque follows the Sunni denomination and conducts services in English to reach out to a diverse community. It provides separate prayer spaces for women and assures availability of wheelchair amenities for those with mobility needs during prayer times.

Services offered at the Danbury Masjid include the five daily prayers, Jumu'ah prayers, weekly Halaqa sessions for women, weekend school for kids, full-time Hifj program, and various other religious activities such as Tarawih prayers during Ramadan and Nikah (marriage) services. Additionally, Ṣalāt al-Janāzah (funeral prayers) are also conducted to support the community during times of loss.
