The Maktab class at the Islamic Center of Aubrey focuses specifically on Tajweed and improving Qur’an reading skills. Our goal is to ensure that students learn to recite the Qur’an with proper pronunciation and fluency, adhering to the rules of Tajweed. Through personalized instruction and consistent practice, students will enhance their reading abilities and gain confidence in their recitation. This class is ideal for those looking to strengthen their connection with the Qur’an by mastering its recitation, creating a solid foundation for further Islamic learning and personal spiritual growth.

Islamic Center of Aubrey is an approved 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation, centrally located on the US-380 Corridor at the corner of Little Elm, Prosper, and Aubrey.  Alhamdulillah, the Musallah is serving the townships of Prosper, Aubrey, Little Elm, Providence, Savannah, Cross Roads, Krugerville, Oak Point, Paloma Creek, Pilot Point, and other surrounding areas.  Serving as a prayer center for the local and transient populations,  we have full capabilities of serving our beautiful community.  The Musallah has all 5 daily Salat, Jumu’ah prayers, and Taraweh prayer during Ramadan.  The rapid growth in these communities has attracted a large number of Muslim families, and we strive to be at the center of the community, providing a location for daily congregational prayers, activities, and education.

The Islamic Center of Aubrey was established in August 2018 to fulfill community needs.
