Welcoming Ramadan

The Islamic Center of South Jersey, located in Palmyra, New Jersey, serves as a vibrant community hub for local Muslims. Established in 1980, the center was created when the Muslim community united to renovate a former church into a mosque. 

As a Sunni denomination, the center conducts various religious services, including five daily prayers, Jumu'ah prayers, and special prayers during Ramadan and Eid. They also offer important community programs, such as a weekend school for children, family nights, and family counseling. 

The mosque is designed to be welcoming, with women having a separate prayer space and amenities like an odhu facility. The facility is also kid-friendly, making it a great place for families to gather for worship and community activities. 

With street parking available, the center ensures that everyone can easily access its services. The use of English and Urdu reflects the diverse community it serves, promoting inclusivity and understanding among its members.
