Muslim Center of New York

Sunday School

The Muslim Center of New York is a mosque located in Queens, New York. It has been serving the community and promoting the teachings of Islam since 1975. The mosque offers a variety of services and programs for its members, including daily prayers, Jumu'ah prayers, and weekend schools for kids. 

For those interested in learning the Quran, the mosque provides full-time and part-time Hifj programs, as well as adult Quran learning sessions, both for men and women. During the holy month of Ramadan, the Muslim Center organizes Tarawih prayers and Iftar meals. 

The mosque also caters to the needs of women with separate prayer spaces and on-site Odhu facilities. While the availability of wheelchair amenities is not specified, the Muslim Center strives to provide an inclusive environment for all. 

In addition to its regular religious activities, the mosque hosts community events and a summer camp, fostering a sense of unity and connection among its members. The Muslim Center also offers services such as Nikah (marriage) ceremonies and Ṣalāt al-Janāzah (funeral prayers). 

The construction of a junior high school building is currently underway, with about 80% of the project completed. However, the mosque urgently requires funds to expedite its completion. The Muslim Center of New York welcomes all individuals, regardless of their background or language, and is proud to be a place that promotes Islamic teachings and serves the broader community.
