The Masjid Makkah-al-Mukarramah, established in 1988. Located in West Island, Pierrefonds (Montreal), and serving its Muslim community, the Mosque is dedicated to meeting the spiritual, social, and educational needs of Muslims in West Island in particular and Quebec in general, and is committed to promoting a better understanding of Islam to non-Muslims. Masjid Makkah continues to focus on presenting Islam within Canada’s multicultural environment in order to promote unity among Muslims and Non-Muslims alike.
