The Newcastle Central Mosque Islamic Center, also known as Bilal Jamia Masjid, is a Sunni mosque located in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Established in 2004, it serves as a vibrant Islamic center for the local community. 

Previously housed in an old church building, the mosque underwent a tragic setback in 1988 when it was destroyed by a racially motivated arson attack. However, the community rallied together and shifted the mosque to a new community center building. Determined to rebuild, the mosque embarked on a new project in 2004 and has since completed the external work. 

Standing proudly in the city's skyline, the Newcastle Central (Bilal) Masjid is a sight to behold. Its iconic Green Dome and Minaret are visible from a considerable distance, making it a landmark when approaching Newcastle city from the A1 motorway.
