Basford Culture Centre is a mosque in Nottingham, England. Our mission is to provide a space for Islamic religious practices and to foster interfaith relations. We strive to be a sanctuary and a source of relief for those in need.

Our vision for Basford Culture Centre is to promote the values of kindness, charity, forgiveness, patience, perseverance, and neighborliness, guided by Islamic teachings. We welcome people of all backgrounds who are seeking an understanding of Islam and Muslims. Our goal is to create a peaceful sanctuary where worshippers can gather and worship in tranquility.

As a community-oriented place, we aim to be gracious and helpful neighbors to the surrounding local community. We support an atmosphere of peace, tolerance, and cross-community sharing. We are dedicated to supporting humanitarian and charitable causes, and we strive to provide access to other community services.

One of our key activities is leading congregational daily prayers, as well as special prayers for Jummah, Ramadan, and Eid. We also provide help and support to integrate local refugees into the community. Our mosque runs Arabic and Quran classes for all age groups, and Islamic Studies classes that teach about Islamic history, morals, manners, and theology. Additionally, we offer advice and counseling by qualified Imams, manage funeral prayers and burial arrangements, and provide venue rooms for hire that are compatible with the Islamic faith.

We actively work with interfaith leaders and local charities to promote interfaith relations. We also focus on fostering inclusivity, particularly by offering support to revert Muslims. We hold Open Days for the entire community to promote Islam and community relations. To support our objectives, we carry out fundraising activities and collect Zakat for eligible charitable purposes in the UK and around the world.

At Basford Culture Centre, we are proud to be part of the Sunni denomination and we conduct our activities in English. While parking is available on the street, specific information about women's amenities and wheelchair accessibility is not currently known.
