The Islamic Center of Chicago, also known as At-Takaful Islamic Society, is a mosque established in 1987. Located in Chicago, Illinois, the mosque aims to serve the cause of Allah and provide a welcoming environment for worshippers. 

The Islamic Center offers a range of services and programs for the community. They host five daily prayers and two Jumu'ah prayers, providing an opportunity for regular worship. The mosque also offers weekly Halaqa sessions specifically for women, creating a space for learning and spiritual growth. 

In addition to regular prayers, the Islamic Center provides educational opportunities. They have an Islamic school for children, allowing them to learn about their faith in a supportive environment. Adult Quran (Tajweed) learning is also offered, enabling individuals to deepen their understanding and enhance their recitation of the Quran. 

During the holy month of Ramadan, the Islamic Center organizes various activities. This includes Tarawih prayers, communal Iftar meals, and Itikaf, which is a spiritual retreat during the last 10 days of Ramadan. The mosque also conducts Eid prayers, providing a space for the community to come together and celebrate. 

Apart from these religious activities, the Islamic Center hosts community events and summer school programs. This helps foster a sense of belonging and unity within the community, while also providing opportunities for growth and engagement. 

With its diverse language offerings, including English, Hindi, and Urdu, the Islamic Center of Chicago strives to cater to a wide range of community members, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all.
