Saheb e biyaz of Anjuman Ghamkharan e Abbas Ali Zia Rizvi. Dar-e Abbas is an Islamic center located in eastern Metro Atlanta and southern Gwinnett County on Lawrenceville Hwy. The name Dar-e Abbas means "the Door of Abbas" in the Persian language, a reference to the Muslim hero Abbas b. Ali b. Abi Talib a.s. Our congregation adheres to the Ithna Ashari. Shiah tradition of Islam in remembrance of the family of Prophet Muhammad al-Mustafa s.a. [Ahl al-Bait] and the descendants of his daughter Fatimah al-Zahra a.s.
