Sunday Maktab Program

Join us at the Al-Hameed Boys Academy's Sunday Maktab Program, where young boys aged 6-13 embark on an enriching journey of spiritual and educational growth. Hosted by the Islamic Association of Arabi at Masjid Yaseen in Garland, TX, this program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to instill a deep understanding of Quranic teachings, Islamic practices, and moral values.

Every Sunday, from 11:30 AM till 2:00 PM, boys will engage in a variety of activities tailored to their age group. From Quran recitation (Tajweed) and understanding its meanings to learning essential Duas (supplications) and engaging in Zikr (remembrance of Allah), participants will immerse themselves in the beauty and wisdom of Islam.

In addition to academic pursuits, our program fosters a sense of community and brotherhood. Through Imani Majlis (faith-based gatherings), story time sessions, and Hadith discussions, boys will develop a deeper connection to their faith and heritage.

Al-Hameed Boys Academy believes in making education accessible to all, which is why this program is offered free of charge. However, there is a nominal $100 registration fee to cover the cost of books and materials essential for the curriculum.
