About the Mosque

The Al-Noor Mosque in Sharjah was built to accommodate approximately 2,200 people, and a chapel for women was allocated to accommodate approximately 400 people and one of the things that makes it an Islamic tourist landmark is its entry into the Guinness Book of Records for its inclusion of the largest wooden zakat fund in 2014, and it is worth noting that the mosque was opened In 2005 in a privileged location overlooking Khalid Lake in Sharjah. The mosque was built in the Ottoman style and overlooks Khalid Lake. Two tall minarets on the corners of the building and a large dome at the top of the mosque surrounded by stained-glass windows.
