This mosque is managed by  Georgia Islamic Institute. In August 1996, the Institute started its academic program in a rented place in the city of Lawrenceville, Georgia. Presently, the Institute campus comprises of a large Masjid, about 22,000 square feet school building, sisters hall, few residential houses, and a library/office building spread over about 13 acres of land in the heart of Lawrenceville, center of the Gwinnett County in Atlanta, Georgia.
