The Muslim community of North Kansas City has been growing in large numbers in the last few years, yet the community is still under served and is in need for a hub to provide spiritual and religious guidance, as well as a social and civic center to help unify and connect people.

Masjid Al-Salaam's mission is to break cultural barriers and build bridges with other religious communities. Furthermore, it is a place where Muslims can seek guidance, and a hub for teaching non-muslims about the religion and the true values of Islam.
